This makes Full Spectrum CBD a more effective and comprehensive stress relief supplement, offering amplified benefits and potency due to the synergistic effects of the included compounds, compared to the more limited effects of CBD Isolate.

How does Full Spectrum CBD oil support overall well-being?

Full Spectrum CBD supports overall well-being by interacting with the body's Endocannabinoid System (ECS), which has been said to "control all physiological and psychological processes." More specifically, the ECS regulates and controls many of our most critical bodily functions such as learning and memory, mood and emotional processing, sleep, temperature control, pain control, inflammatory and immune responses, and eating.

The ECS is a complex cell-signaling system that plays a crucial role in maintaining homeostasis, or balance, within the body. By enhancing ECS function and tone, Full Spectrum CBD oil can help regulate various psychological and physiological processes, such as brain health and performance, mood, sleep, immune function, and inflammation response, leading to enhanced well-being and cognitive performance.

How does Full Spectrum CBD oil support long-term brain health and peak cognitive performance?

Full Spectrum CBD optimizes cognition and brain health by interacting with various biological systems, including the endocannabinoid system (ECS), serotonin receptors, and other molecular pathways. It supports long-term brain health and cognitive function by promoting global functional brain connectivity, enhancing mood, combating oxidative stress, and supporting a healthy inflammation response. These effects can help maintain optimal brain function and protect against age-related cognitive decline:

  • Enhancing serotonin 5-HT1A activity: Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that plays a critical role in mood regulation, cognition, and memory. CBD has been shown to increase serotonin 5-HT1A receptor activity, which can help improve cognitive function and emotional regulation.

  • Promoting BDNF: Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is a vital neurotrophin that promotes the survival, growth, and differentiation of neurons, which are essential for maintaining healthy cognitive function. It is crucial for learning, memory, and overall brain health. CBD has been demonstrated to increase BDNF levels in the brain, promoting neuroplasticity and enhancing cognitive function. One particular area of interest is the cortico-striatal brain network, a crucial neural circuit involved in learning, memory, and decision-making processes. This network is made up of brain regions like the hippocampus (memory center), pre-frontal cortex (mood, emotional regulation, executive function), cerebral cortex (attention, memory, decision-making), the striatum (motor control, reward), the thalamus (sensory and motor signals), and amygdala (fear processing). A study by Pradier et al. (2018) demonstrated that single CBD exposure upregulates BDNF in the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC), while repeated exposure increases BDNF in the striatum and slightly decreases it in the mPFC.

  • Suppressing neuroinflammation: Inflammation in the brain has been linked to cognitive decline and various neurological disorders. CBD has potent anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce neuroinflammation, thereby preserving cognitive function and promoting brain health.

  • Combating oxidative stress and boosting antioxidant defenses: Oxidative stress damages brain cells and impairs cognitive function. CBD has been shown to have strong antioxidant properties while also enhancing your body's antioxidant response, neutralizing harmful free radicals and protecting the brain from oxidative damage.

  • Improving global functional brain connectivity: CBD has been found to modulate the activity and connectivity of several brain regions, including the pre-frontal cortex, amygdala, and hippocampus. These regions play essential roles in cognitive processes like memory, learning, and emotional regulation. By optimizing the connectivity between these regions, CBD can enhance overall cognitive function.

  • Promoting neurogenesis and alleviating neurodegeneration: Neurogenesis, the process of generating new neurons, is important for maintaining healthy brain function, learning, and memory. CBD has been shown to promote neurogenesis in various models, including those involving stress, Alzheimer's disease, and brain ischemia. The anxiolytic and anti-inflammatory properties of CBD contribute to its neuroprotective effects, which may be helpful in treating pathologies like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease that involve neurodegeneration. Moreover, CBD's ability to activate various receptors, such as serotonin 5-HT1A, CB1, CB2, and PPARγ, makes it a promising candidate for neurogenesis-based therapies, which could potentially improve cognitive function and slow the progression of neurodegenerative disorders.

  • Increase hippocampal subfield volumes: The hippocampus is a critical brain structure involved in the formation, consolidation, and retrieval of memories, as well as spatial navigation. A study by Beale et al. (2018) found that prolonged CBD treatment (200 mg daily for approximately 10 weeks) increased the volume of the left subicular complex in the hippocampus among regular cannabis users. This effect was more pronounced in heavy cannabis users and was associated with higher plasma CBD concentrations. These findings suggest that CBD may have restorative effects on specific hippocampal subfields, potentially offering protection against brain structural harms caused by chronic cannabis use. This could also be therapeutically beneficial for disorders characterized by hippocampal pathology, such as schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, and major depressive disorder, which are associated with cognitive impairments and memory deficits.

Can Full Spectrum CBD Oil help with anxiety and stress management?

Yes, Full Spectrum CBD is clinically studied to help with anxiety and stress management.

The endocannabinoid system's (ECS) receptors act like traffic cops that control the levels and activity of most of your other systems and neurotransmitters. This is how they regulate things: by turning up or down the activity of whichever system needs to be adjusted, whether that is stress, inflammation, hunger, temperature, or alertness, for example. Cannabidiol (CBD) has been found to enhance this system. But it isn't just the ECS—CBD also works by activating your serotonin 5-HT1A receptors, which are densely distributed in the mood and memory centers of your brain, and regulating inflammatory pathways, which reduces neuroinflammation and excitotoxicity.

In a clinical setting, there are over eight double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trials and one partially controlled study that have demonstrated that CBD significantly reduces the stress response and its manifestations, such as anxiety, fear, depression, and burnout. In two clinical trials, CBD was found to be non-inferior to pharmaceutical drugs, such as benzodiazepines and 5HT1A agonists (anti-depressants). In another clinical trial, 150mg of CBD taken twice daily reduced symptoms of burnout and emotional exhaustion among health care professionals working with patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In summary, full-spectrum CBD oil has demonstrated potential in managing anxiety and stress, supported by clinical trials, real-world evidence, and known mechanisms of action. However, it is essential to consult with a healthcare professional before using CBD products for stress management, especially if you are taking any prescribed medications.

Can CBD help with depression? How?

Yes, CBD may help with depression through several mechanisms:

Firstly, CBD helps you better regulate your mood and body's stress response by improving the tone and function of your ECS. It also modulates the neurotransmission of serotonin and norepinephrine, and actively binds to 5-HT1A serotonin receptors, all of which are key players in managing mood and depression.

Furthermore, CBD stimulates synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis, and promotes the production of BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factors), a vital protein for brain health and mood regulation. Synaptic plasticity is the brain's ability to adapt and reorganize connections between neurons. Neurogenesis is the creation of new neurons. Both help depression by enhancing brain flexibility, resilience, and learning, which supports mood regulation and recovery.

Through these combined actions, CBD may potentially help alleviate symptoms of depression and support overall mental well-being.

Can CBD help with PTSD? How?

CBD may offer significant benefits for individuals suffering from PTSD by enhancing the endocannabinoid system, increasing serotonin neurotransmission, and promoting neurogenesis and synaptic plasticity. These combined effects of CBD can help improve emotional processing and reduce anxiety, ultimately contributing to the alleviation of PTSD symptoms Here's how:

The endocannabinoid system plays a crucial role in regulating stress, fear, and anxiety. By modulating this system, CBD can help regulate emotional memory processing and stress responses in PTSD patients.

CBD's impact on serotonin neurotransmission is another key aspect of its potential benefits for PTSD sufferers. CBD binds to 5-HT1A receptors, which are involved in the regulation of anxiety and depression symptoms. By increasing serotonin signaling, CBD can help alleviate anxiety and depression commonly experienced by those with PTSD.

Neurogenesis and synaptic plasticity, which are essential for brain resilience and coping with traumatic memories and triggers, are also promoted by CBD. By stimulating these processes, CBD may help individuals better manage the emotional challenges associated with PTSD. Studies also show that CBD reduces fear-associated neurons and anxiety-related behaviors in the amygdala, while other studies indicate that CBD decreases activation in the amygdala and modifies cerebral blood flow in brain regions responsible for anxiety symptoms.

In conclusion, CBD's ability to enhance the endocannabinoid system, increase serotonin neurotransmission, and promote neurogenesis and synaptic plasticity contribute to its potential benefits for PTSD patients. By improving emotional processing and reducing anxiety, CBD may offer a valuable therapeutic option for those suffering from PTSD.

Can CBD help improve the gut-brain connection? How?

Yes, CBD can help improve the gut-brain connection by interacting with the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), which plays a crucial role in regulating gut function and maintaining gut-brain communication. The gut-brain connection, also known as the gut-brain axis, is a bidirectional communication pathway between the gastrointestinal tract and the central nervous system.

CBD can contribute to a healthier gut-brain connection in several ways:

  • Anti-inflammatory effects: CBD has been shown to possess anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation in the gut. This may lead to improved gut function and a healthier gut-brain communication pathway.

  • Modulating the endocannabinoid system: CBD interacts with the ECS, which is present throughout the body, including the gastrointestinal tract and the central nervous system. By modulating the ECS, CBD can help maintain a proper balance between gut function and brain activity, promoting a healthier gut-brain connection.

  • Reducing stress and anxiety: The gut-brain connection is influenced by stress and anxiety, which can negatively affect both gut function and brain health. CBD has been shown to help alleviate stress and anxiety by interacting with various neurotransmitter systems, such as the serotonin system. By reducing stress and anxiety, CBD might contribute to a more balanced gut-brain connection.

  • Regulating gut motility: CBD can help regulate gut motility by interacting with the ECS. A balanced gut motility is essential for maintaining proper digestion and gut function, which in turn supports a healthy gut-brain connection.

  • Supporting healthy serotonin activity: 95% of serotonin is created in the gut. CBD interacts with serotonin receptors, specifically the 5-HT1A receptor, which plays a role in modulating inflammation, mood, cognition, and gut function. By enhancing serotonin signaling, CBD may improve gut health and the gut-brain connection. This can lead to reduced inflammation, balanced gut motility, and better mood and cognition.

It's important to note that more research is needed to fully understand the effects of CBD on the gut-brain connection. If you're considering using CBD for gut health, consult with a healthcare professional to determine if it's appropriate for your specific needs and to establish the correct dosage.

How does Full Spectrum CBD Oil promote a healthy inflammation response?

Full-spectrum CBD oil can promote a healthy inflammatory response by interacting with the endocannabinoid system and various other pathways in the body. The endocannabinoid system plays a crucial role in maintaining balance within the body, including regulating inflammation. Full-spectrum CBD contains various cannabinoids, including cannabidiol (CBD), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), terpenes, and other phytochemicals that work together synergistically to provide what is known as the "entourage effect," enhancing the overall benefits of the oil.

Here are some ways in which full-spectrum CBD can promote a healthy inflammatory response:

  • Interaction with serotonin receptors: Serotonin, the happiness hormone and neurotransmitter, is a powerful anti-inflammatory. Approximately 95% of your serotonin is produced in your gut, and deficiencies can manifest as inflammatory diseases and mood disorders. By enhancing serotonin activity in your brain and gut, CBD helps to both support a healthy inflammatory response and improve mood and cognition.

  • Interaction with CB1 and CB2 receptors: The cannabinoids in full-spectrum CBD oil interact with CB1 and CB2 receptors, which are part of the endocannabinoid system. These receptors are involved in modulating inflammation, with CB2 receptors playing a particularly important role in regulating the immune system response.

  • Activation of PPAR-gamma: Full-spectrum CBD activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ), which has anti-inflammatory properties. By activating PPARγ, CBD can help reduce inflammation and prevent immune cell activation in response to inflammatory stimuli.

  • Inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines: Full-spectrum CBD can inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, which are signaling molecules that contribute to inflammation. This helps reduce inflammation and supports a healthy immune response.

  • Desensitizing TRPV1 channels: Full-spectrum CBD oil interacts with TRPV1 channels, which are involved in pain perception and inflammation. CBD binds to and desensitizes these channels, reducing inflammation and promoting a healthy inflammatory response.

  • Interferes with adenosine reuptake: CBD interferes with the reuptake of adenosine, which is a neurotransmitter with anti-inflammatory properties. By increasing adenosine levels, full-spectrum CBD oil can help promote a healthy inflammatory response.

It is important to note that while full-spectrum CBD oil may have potential benefits in promoting a healthy inflammatory response, more research is needed to fully understand its mechanisms and effectiveness. Always consult with a healthcare professional before using CBD products for inflammation or any other health-related concerns.

Can I use Full Spectrum CBD Oil for pain management?

Full Spectrum CBD may be helpful for pain management due to its ability to interact with the Endocannabinoid System and modulate pain signals. Some studies have suggested that CBD may be effective in relieving neuropathic pain and inflammatory pain, specifically. But if you're wondering whether CBD or THC provide better pain relief, CBD and THC taken together are clinically proven to alleviate all 3 types of pain—nerve pain (neuropathic), inflammatory pain (nociceptive), and nervous system dysfunctions, like fibromyalgia (nociplastic).

For a 1:1 ratio of CBD:THC, you may wish to explore our 1 CBD : 1 THC Oil, while our 3 CBD : 1 THC Oil offers a less sedative option for gentle yet potent pain relief.

Can Full Spectrum CBD help treat autoimmune disease? How?

Yes, CBD may help manage symptoms of autoimmune diseases by modulating both the immune system and the stress response. Autoimmune diseases can be influenced by the body's natural inflammatory response to stress, which can contribute to the development and exacerbation of these conditions by promoting inflammation and dysregulating the immune system.

First, CBD is immune suppressive, which means that it works by directly suppressing the activation of various immune cell types, inducing apoptosis (programmed, healthy cell death), and promoting regulatory cells that control other immune cell targets.

CBD also has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation associated with autoimmune diseases. Additionally, CBD helps to regulate the stress response by modulating the endocannabinoid system and various neurotransmitter systems, such as serotonin and dopamine. By reducing stress and anxiety, CBD helps to contribute to a more balanced immune response and alleviate symptoms of autoimmune diseases.

Note that while CBD may help to regulate the pathways involved in in autoimmune conditions, it isn't a cure. The underlying causes of autoimmune diseases are not yet fully understood and require integrated approaches, including diet, sleep, movement, sun exposure. More research is needed to determine the extent to which CBD can help with immune function restoration in the context of autoimmune diseases.

It's important to consult with a healthcare professional before using CBD to manage symptoms of autoimmune diseases to ensure it's appropriate for your specific condition and to determine the correct dosage.

Synaptic plasticity is the brains ability to adapt and reorganize connections between neurons. Neurogenesis is the creation of new neurons. Both help depression by enhancing brain flexibility, resilience, and learning, which supports mood regulation and recovery.

Through these combined actions, CBD may potentially help alleviate symptoms of depression and support overall mental well-being.

" } } , { "@type": "Question", "name": "Can CBD help with PTSD? How?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "

CBD may offer significant benefits for individuals suffering from PTSD by enhancing the endocannabinoid system, increasing serotonin neurotransmission, and promoting neurogenesis and synaptic plasticity. These combined effects of CBD can help improve emotional processing and reduce anxiety, ultimately contributing to the alleviation of PTSD symptoms Heres how:

The endocannabinoid system plays a crucial role in regulating stress, fear, and anxiety. By modulating this system, CBD can help regulate emotional memory processing and stress responses in PTSD patients.

CBDs impact on serotonin neurotransmission is another key aspect of its potential benefits for PTSD sufferers.

In conclusion, CBDs ability to enhance the endocannabinoid system, increase serotonin neurotransmission, and promote neurogenesis and synaptic plasticity contribute to its potential benefits for PTSD patients. By improving emotional processing and reducing anxiety, CBD may offer a valuable therapeutic option for those suffering from PTSD.

" } } , { "@type": "Question", "name": "Can CBD help improve the gut-brain connection? How?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "

Its important to note that more research is needed to fully understand the effects of CBD on the gut-brain connection. If youre considering using CBD for gut health, consult with a healthcare professional to determine if its appropriate for your specific needs and to establish the correct dosage.

" } } , { "@type": "Question", "name": "Can Full Spectrum CBD oil improve my sleep quality?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "

" } } , { "@type": "Question", "name": "How does Full Spectrum CBD Oil promote a healthy inflammation response?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "

Full-spectrum CBD oil can promote a healthy inflammatory response by interacting with the endocannabinoid system and various other pathways in the body. The endocannabinoid system plays a crucial role in maintaining balance within the body, including regulating inflammation. Full-spectrum CBD contains various cannabinoids, including cannabidiol (CBD), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), terpenes, and other phytochemicals that work together synergistically to provide what is known as the entourage effect, enhancing the overall benefits of the oil.

" } } , { "@type": "Question", "name": "Can I use Full Spectrum CBD Oil for pain management?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "Full Spectrum CBD may be helpful for pain management due to its ability to interact with the Endocannabinoid System and modulate pain signals. How?", "acceptedAnswer": { "@type": "Answer", "text": "

Yes, CBD may help manage symptoms of autoimmune diseases by modulating both the immune system and the stress response. Autoimmune diseases can be influenced by the bodys natural inflammatory response to stress, which can contribute to the development and exacerbation of these conditions by promoting inflammation and dysregulating the immune system.

Note that while CBD may help to regulate the pathways involved in in autoimmune conditions, it isnt a cure. The underlying causes of autoimmune diseases are not yet fully understood and require integrated approaches, including diet, sleep, movement, sun exposure. More research is needed to determine the extent to which CBD can help with immune function restoration in the context of autoimmune diseases.

Its important to consult with a healthcare professional before using CBD to manage symptoms of autoimmune diseases to ensure its appropriate for your specific condition and to determine the correct dosage.

cbd usage

I found the recommended dosage ( 2ml, twice a day) to be a large quantity. I found there was a ‘******’ feeling most of the day, which I do NOT like, so I quit the am dosage and only take a night before bed. My goal was to reduce inflammation and pain for arthritic knees but haven’t found this product to help. Alos taking 2ml before bed seems to stimulate early morning elimination with loose stools.

A sigh of relief :)

I have loved using this product in my teas or directly under my tongue around noon, and then again before bed. I find it helps with my anxiety, as well as overall pains and aches. (Headaches, cramps, sore muscles, etc). When I'm having a painful/uncomfortable day, I take a slightly higher dose for added pain relief.
